Riley Hayes Advertising in Minneapolis has picked up Marquette Bank’s $1 million account following a review.
The Minneapolis-headquartered bank’s advertising was formerly handled by Valentine-McCormick-Ligibel, also in Minneapolis, which was acquired by crosstown shop Carmichael Lynch in December.
Carmichael declined to take on the Marquette business because of its relationship with Norwest Bank.
Riley Hayes has done project work, mostly consisting of print advertising, for Norwest, said Tom Hayes, chief executive officer. Marquette operates 140 banks in 10 states under various names.
Competitors in the review were unknown.
