BOSTON-McDonald Communications in Portland, Maine, has won advertising and public relations duties for the introduction of the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority, an Amtrak service linking Portland, Maine, and Boston.
The rail line is set to open next year, and the shop will create and place print and broadcast ads to support the launch, said agency president Tom McDonald.
The agency will also handle the introduction in Maine of Time-Warner Cable’s Road Runner high-speed Internet modem service, which allows users to connect to the Internet without using phone lines, McDonald said.
