LucasArts Entertainment Co. is conducting a review of several undisclosed Bay Area shops for its estimated $15-20 million ad account. The entertainment software developer and publisher plans to select an agency next month.
“At this stage, it’s a closed review,” said Mary Bihr, director of sales and marketing at LucasArts. “We have a short list of semifinalists that will soon be narrowed down.”
Darien & Kilburg, San Francisco, which has done project work for LucasArts, is among the shops being considered, according to Bihr.
