LM&O Wins U.S. Coast Guard Account

Arlington agency takes over from Cossette, NY

LM&O Advertising won the United States Coast Guard account, taking over from Cossette NY which closed last year after private equity firm Mill Road Capital acquired the agency’s Canadian parent.

The Arlington, V.A., independent has been awarded a one-year contract with annual renewal options that could extend over a five-year period. The value of the contract over five years, which includes labor, production and media spending, is $32 million.

After the completion of Cossette's last option year in September, Interpublic's Campbell Ewald, handled the account on an interim basis. The Detroit agency handles multiple government accounts, including the U.S. Navy.

LM&O, founded in 1995, works for clients like the National Guard, Avis Budget Group, Sears Portrait Studio, Washington Convention and Sports Authority, Washington Redskins, The Fairmont Washington, D.C. and Military Officers Association of America.
