Marketers should be prepared at the end of this summer to deal with consumers who are less tanned, less rested and less ready than in years past. In a poll fielded by Ipsos Public Affairs for Access America Travel Insurance and Assistance, just 33 percent of U.S. adults said they plan to take a vacation this summer. Looking at it another way, 57 percent of those who vacationed last summer plan to do so this summer.
