Pitching a sharply defined target market helped Zimmerman & Partners win the creative portion of LCA-Vision’s $15 million account, the client confirmed.

“We were impressed with Z&P’s strategic insight that helped us redirect our focus toward our true growth opportunity—contact lens wearers,” said Jeff Dowdle, executive vice president of marketing for the Cincinnati-based client.

The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., agency prevailed over sister Omnicom shop BBDO and Bcom3’s Leo Burnett Customer Group, both in Chicago, Interpublic Group’s Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis and Grey Global’s Grey Direct in New York, sources said.
