Independent Modernista! in Boston has named Davi Liu (pictured) and Xavier Teo creative directors, while Sebastian Gard joined as social media director. Liu has been working as a creative exec in Asia for the last seven years, spending much of his time at Wieden + Kennedy in Tokyo working on Nike in Japan and China. He created the “Tiger vs. Roger” effort for those markets. Recently, he’s worked on assignments for Nestle, Mentos and Sony at Jeh United in Bangkok and Naked Communications in Tokyo.
