Kelly to Lead Healthcare Marketing Agency

CHICAGO Omnicom Group medical marketing agency Corbett Accel Healthcare Group has named Carleen Kelly president of its New York office. She succeeds Richard Nordstrom, who recently left the agency, in the post.

"I am thrilled to have Carleen Kelly fill this important position," said Scott D. Cotherman, CEO of the Chicago-based agency, in a statement. "During this time of great opportunities for our firm, having someone of Carleen's caliber will be key in continuing the successful enterprise of the New York advertising operations."

Kelly joined the agency's New York office last March, directing the U.S. and global launches of a cholesterol-lowering drug for Merck & Co. Her responsibilities included coordinating those launch efforts among other Omnicom agencies, including DDB New York and PR practice Porter Novelli.

Prior to joining Corbett Accel, Kelly was chief operating officer for Torre Lazur McCann Healthcare, a division of Interpublic Group's McCann Erickson. During her two-year tenure at the agency, she helped lead efforts on an antidepressant for GlaxoSmithKline. She has also worked on the client side as a sales representative for Pfizer.
