Rob Quish is taking Atlanta.
Quish, who remains CEO of JWT Inside, the agency’s recruitment marketing and employee communications arm, has been handed the CEO role at JWT Atlanta, home of the shop’s U.S. Marines business. He succeeds Ridge White, who is shifting to JWT’s Houston office, where he’ll manage the North American piece of the agency’s global Shell account. JWT’s Houston and Dallas offices report to Atlanta, so Quish’s new job includes oversight of Texas staffers and accounts as well.
Beyond Shell, Houston also works on Jiffy Lube, another Shell brand. The smaller Dallas office serves as a technology hub, providing database management and analytics to marketers. Other accounts in Atlanta include Transamerica, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Tennessee and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The total headcount across the three offices is estimated at 300.
Given his new role, Quish, 49, will spend the bulk of his time in Atlanta, though he’ll keep an office in New York. He continues to report to North American CEO David Eastman.
