The New York office of Saatchi & Saatchi has filled its top creative role with a leader from sister shop Leo Burnett.

Jay Benjamin, the chief creative officer at Burnett's New York office, assumes the same title at the bigger office of Saatchi, whose top accounts include Procter & Gamble and General Mills. Both agencies are owned by Publicis Groupe.

The hire fills the hole left by the December exit of Con Williamson, who became CCO at Interpublic Group's Erwin Penland in New York.
