Market researcher Ipsos OTX MediaCT has launched a new syndicated study designed to provide clients with insights on the changing habits of media consumption within families.

The data is based on an annual online survey of nearly 2,000 children aged 6 to 12 years old (as well one of their parents).

The company issued some findings from the survey this week, including the fact that four-in-10 moms report that it was their idea to get their child a mobile phone.
