USA network's standing as the top-rated cable network is not just due to its rabid wrestling fan base. The cable network's expanding slate of original dramas has made it a destination for viewers seeking alternative takes on traditional franchises.
With shows like Psych, White Collar, In Plain Sight and new series Fairly Legal, the network has been breaking ground with the procedurals and legal drama genres.
And the network isn't stopping there. Jeff Wachtel, USA's president of original programming, spoke with correspondent Alan Frutkin about the network's move into comedy and, most recently, reality, with its pickup of the WWE contest show Tough Enough.
