Computer-chip maker Intel is conducting a search for its top global marketing position, according to the company.

The vp, director of corporate marketing post calls for global experience, given Intel’s overseas presence, and is the primary contact with agencies on the estimated $225 million account, including Havas’ Euro RSCG and its MPG media unit.

The company is down to a short list, said Tom Seclow, a consultant with executive search firm Spencer Stuart in San Francisco, which is handling the process.
