Horizon Rebrands Radio Div. 'audiohorizon'

Horizon Media has rebranded its radio division “audiohorizon,” the media shop announced Thursday (Sept. 10). The new name reflects Horizon’s strategy to consider radio across all its platforms—digital and terrestrial—to increase frequency and overall impressions.

With the new branding, Horizon’s radio specialists will now be known as “audio specialists,” charged with creating 360-degree audio experiences.

“Expanding on-air campaigns with digital components enhances the dialogue brands have with consumers who are impacted with multiple touch points including on-air, online, mobile, promotion, viral, database marketing and much more,” said Lauren Russo, senior vp and managing director of local audio.
