Horizon Media Launches New Insights Unit

Horizon Media has launched a new unit called the The WHERE Group which aims to broaden the independent media agency’s insights capabilities.

Eric Blankfein, svp, managing director of channel insights at Horizon, has been named chief of WHERE, director of channel insights and research.

In a statement, Horizon describes WHERE as an effort to expand Horizon’s capacity to determine "where" the most effective channels are in reaching consumers, "where" new channels are emerging, and "where" the most efficient channels in driving business reside.

Horizon recently launched another new division WHY which identifies cultural and societal trends that drive consumer behavior.
