BOSTON Holland Mark said it has expanded its relationship with vehicle-sharing company Zipcar, attaining lead agency status based on project work last year that included brand architecture and positioning chores.

“Our scale gives us the opportunity to strategically invest in the brand. Holland Mark’s experience working with Zipcar, and their understanding of our vision, makes them an ideal branding partner,” said Stephanie Shore, the client’s vp, marketing, in a statement.

Spending moving forward was not disclosed. The client’s media outlay has been in the low-six-figure range in each of the past two years, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

Boston-based Holland Mark, an independent shop, also works for clients such as the American Cancer Society, Benjamin Franklin Bank, Explorica, Fidelity Investments, Insolia, Pearson Education and Stonyfield Farms.
