Hasbro Schedules Media Review Presentations

Toy marketer Hasbro has scheduled presentations for four contenders in its ongoing media agency review over the next two weeks, according to sources.

The contenders include the incumbent, WPP Group’s MediaCom, Interpublic Group’s Initiative, Publicis Groupe’s Zenith Media and Omnicom Group’s PHD, sources said.

Just last month PHD came out on top in the GlaxoSmithKline review, where MediaCom was also the incumbent.

Hasbro, based in Pawtucket, R.I., spent around $115 million on ads in both 2010 and 2009, according to Nielsen.
