EMC has no immediate plans to hold a review or change its agency affiliation in the wake of hiring David Goulden as executive vp, global marketing, a company representative said. Goulden succeeds David Donatelli, who moves to evp, storage platforms operations.

Wracked by huge losses, the data-storage specialist in Hopkinton, Mass., spent $3 million on ads in the first four months of the year compared with nearly $20 million for 2001. Arnold, Boston, creates EMC’s ads on a project basis.

Goulden joins from Getronics of Amsterdam, where he was president and COO for the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
