NEW YORK Gotham here has hired another McCann Erickson veteran to assume the new position of chief marketing officer.

Greg Fujimoto, a group marketing director on Intel at Interpublic Group’s McCann in New York, this week joined Gotham in the new role. He reports to CEO Peter McGuinness, himself a former McCann executive.

Three former McCann honchos now hold top posts at Interpublic’s Gotham. The third is director of planning John Heath.

Fujimoto, 47, has spent the bulk of his 20-year career at McCann, working on brands such as Microsoft’s Xbox, Lowe’s, AT&T, Sprint and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
