Brett Gosper, the regional director for McCann Worldgroup Europe, is out. The latest cut was made by Worldgroup chief Nick Brien as he builds his executive team at the Interpublic agency, sources said.
It's not yet known who will take over Gosper’s role in Europe.
Gosper and Worldgroup execs did not respond to inquiries.
Gosper’s future in the new Brien regime (that began April 1) was foreshadowed in September when Brien gave Luca Lindner, the head of the agency’s Latin America and Caribbean operations, additional responsibility for the Middle East and Africa. Gosper had overseen those regions.
Gosper had previously been president of McCann Erickson U.S. and general manager of McCann's flagship New York agency. Before joining McCann, he was president of TBWA's New York group. Earlier, Gosper was a partner at London's Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper.
