Google Vet Eun Out at AOL
As the Arianna Huffington editorial era at AOL nears, even the slew of ex-Google executives brought in by CEO Tim Armstrong aren’t safe.
David Eun is leaving AOL after joining the company a year ago to lead content operations, according to paidContent.
It appears that Eun’s role may have become redundant, as Huffington is set to become AOL’s editor in chief after the $315 million acquisition officially closes. His departure could be seen as a victory for Jon Brod, AOL’s president of Ventures, Local & Mapping.
