NEW YORK Reporting another blockbuster financial performance, Google executives said blue-chip advertisers are increasing their spending on its text listings and newer brand-focused products.

“We’re attracting a lot more business from the Fortune 500 companies,” CEO Eric Schmidt said in a conference call with financial analysts.

Sergey Brin, Google’s president of technology, said the company’s 4-month-old site-targeting product, focused on brand advertisers, is gaining traction. Of Google’s top 100 advertisers, more than 25 have run campaigns, he said.
