CHICAGO Retailer Gap Inc. has hired former LB Works CEO Jeff Jones as executive vice president of marketing for its flagship Gap brand, the company said.

Jones, 36, is the second executive from Publicis Groupe agency Leo Burnett to take a job with the San Francisco-based retail company in the past nine months. Last June, Burnett evp and group account director Susan Wayne took a similar post for the company’s Old Navy brand. In his new position, Jones will oversee all communications for all of the company’s Gap-branded retail outlets, including GapKids and babyGap.
