Starcom MediaVest’s Richard Fielding has jumped to Kantar Media North America in the newly created position of chief client officer. Fielding was most recently vp and director of global research for Starcom MediaVest Group.

In his new position, Fielding will oversee development and promotion of new services and core products for the global research firm. He’ll be based in Chicago and report directly to Terry Kent, managing director of Kantar Media N.A.

“Richard’s exceptional background in developing products in response to specific needs across all media platforms makes him uniquely qualified to help Kantar Media identify new opportunities in the integration of traditional and digital for our clients,” Kent said.

Fielding’s appointment comes three months after TNS Media and KMR Group were merged rebranded as Kantar Media.
