Feuling Joins Carat as Client Development Leader

Aegis Group's Carat has named Steven Feuling to the new post of evp, chief client development officer. He will be responsible for the shop's marketing efforts and spearhead strategy initiatives.

A 25-year industry veteran, Feuling most recently was vp, demand strategy and category development officer at Yahoo. Before that he was president, chief consumer officer and CMO at Publicis Groupe's Starcom. Earlier in his career he held senior marketing posts at Kmart, Clorox and Disney.

Fueling reports to Carat U.S. president Martin Cass. In a statement Cass said: "With the creation of this new position we are affirming our dedication to advancing our own brand," which has been rocked by a series of client losses over the past year, including Hyundai/Kia, New Line Cinema and most recently Jenny Craig. On the plus side, the shop is contending for the $580 million Home Depot business.

"Stephen is a talented marketing executive with experience in advertising, media, business development, strategy and branding," Cass added.

"Carat is perfectly poised to deliver diversified media and marketing solutions that will be ground breaking in an environment that continues to quickly evolve," Feuling said.
