Expedia has selected three finalists to compete for creative duties on its ad account, confirmed Ark Advisors, the consultancy that’s managing the client’s agency search.

The shops are Interpublic Group units McCann Erickson in New York and The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., and Havas’ Arnold in Boston, confirmed Ken Robinson, a principal at Ark here.

Client executives will brief the shops next week and final presentations are slated for “later in the summer,” Robinson said. The finals will take place either in late July or early August, according to sources.

The contenders emerged from a field of six agencies that met with the execs.
