NEW YORK Less than a week after leaving Aegis Group’s Carat as his contract expired, Mitch Oscar has joined Havas’ MPG as evp, televisual applications, a new post at the shop.

Oscar will be responsible for exploring new and emerging forms of video advertising for interactive and addressable applications in TV, cable, VOD, out-of-home, wireless and other digital platforms.

Oscar held a similar post at Carat, where he was director of CaratDigital.

MPG also said that Oscar would establish the MPG Collaborative Alliance, under which he will assemble media industry executives of new-tech advertising applications in quarterly seminars to exchange views on emerging developments.
