I don’t play fantasy baseball and rarely even watch a game, but I can appreciate a good commercial about how ESPN can help those who do. A new ESPN.com spot from Wieden + Kennedy in New York opens with a fan logging in to the site at his desk. Thankfully it then takes us not to the usual shots of the onscreen experience, but translates it instead into a moving sequence of live-action scenes enhanced by graphics and uses the ever-present digital marker, the slash, to move the ad along and take viewers through the “pages” of the experience.
