Agencies are getting another shot at Empire State Development's $50 million to $75 million annual economic development marketing program.

In the first phase of the mandated search, the New York state agency has issued a request for qualifications in order to identify up to six agencies which will then be asked to submit formal proposals requiring creative work and media plans. Responses to the RFQ are due by noon on April 27.

BBDO signed a two-year contract with Empire State Development in November 2011 that included an option for two additional one-year renewals.
