Sandy Kolkey has been named president of Interpublic Group’s Draftfcb in New York, effective immediately. He succeeds Peter DeNunzio in that role.
Kolkey (pictured) reports to Mark Modesto, president of Draftfcb North America. Kolkey most recently was evp, group management director at Draftfcb Chicago, responsible for the Boeing, Dow, Diners Club, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MoneyGram and Chicago Cubs accounts.
In a statement, Laurence Boschetto, the agency’s global CEO and president, said: “Following Mark Modesto’s appointment as president of Draftfcb North America last fall, Mark, Peter and the rest of the North American leadership team have been creating a new strategy for the region and reshaping the role of the individual offices.
