NEW YORK — Digital@jwt has won interactive duties for Nasdaq following a review, the agency confirmed. The New York-based digital arm of J. Walter Thompson beat out Circle.com in the finals, sources said.

The shop is expected to redesign the Web site of the 30-year-old electronic stock market. Prior to this, Nasdaq’s interactive projects were handled in-house. The budget is not disclosed.

“As Nasdaq continues to grow its global presence, the digital world will be a key component of our overall brand strategy,” said John Delta, vp and general manger of Nasdaq.com.
