DALLAS: Dieste & Partners here surfaced as the fifth contender in Major League Soccer’s first Hispanic agency review, which could be decided this week.
Sources said Dieste was the final agency to pitch the business, following presentations from four previously identified contenders: The Bravo Group, Vidal, Reynardus & Moya and Castor Advertising, all New York, and Cardenas/Fernandez & Associates, Chicago.
Rafael Morffi, manager of communications for New York-based Major League Soccer (MLS), said the organization may award the Spanish-language account outright this week or call back two agencies for additional presentations.
Dieste & Partners president Tony Dieste declined comment.
