LOS ANGELES Independent Los Angeles creative shop David & Goliath has appointed former Team One executive Rick Schmitz to head its digital operations — so long as he passes a pending Fear Factor-esque initiation.
 
As digital group director, Schmitz will lead all digital accounts, which include Kia Motors, Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Marc Ecko, Mammoth Mountain Resort, New York Hotel & Casino and Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino. He replaces Tesa Aragones, who left the agency last year to work for Nike.
