Deutsch N.Y. Taps Moore as Strategy Chief

IPG’s Deutsch, a unit of Lowe, has named Bert Moore partner and chief strategy officer in its flagship New York office.

Moore (pictured) fills a post vacant for nearly a year since the departure of Mick McCabe. His first day on the job will be Jan. 4, though he assisted the agency with its winning pitch for Microsoft’s global business-to-business assignment this summer.

He joins from Lowe + Partners, where he was global chief strategy officer. The shop will not name a direct successor.

At Deutsch, Moore will report to New York CEO Val DiFebo, with a dotted line report to Linda Sawyer, North American CEO, on global business opportunities.
