Day 6 Bicycles Enlists TTD

DENVER Independent Thomas Taber & Drazen here has added marketing chores for Day 6 Bicycles. There had previously been no shop on the business and the account was awarded without a review.

TTD becomes the first lead agency for the brand, which targets its semi-recumbent Journey and Dream bikes to the expanding baby-boomer market. Ad spending was not disclosed.

A direct-response effort will be a key component of upcoming agency efforts, along with print, broadcast and online components. The work is expected to debut in late winter or early spring, the shop said.

Client COO Torger Sikveland said in a statement that an aggressive push from TTD would help Day 6 become "a leader in the bicycle industry." The brand is a unit of Marken International.

TTD is a full-service shop and its other clients include Clarity Media, Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance, DVDPlay and Icon Advisors.
