A snapshot of Gen Y women shows they are in love with technology, but they're less likely to be wedded to a political party

Almost all women are tethered to one device or another, but how they use them varies widely across the generations. Boomers are more likely than their younger counterparts to go online to play blackjack and make travel reservations, while younger women are using their digital devices to listen to music or watch movies.

 

Looking at their demographic profiles, younger women are also more likely than boomers to be non-white, have kids at home. Candidates, take note: 28 percent of Gen Y is uncommitted to a political party, versus 16 percent of boomers.
