Today, DailyMail.com announced the appointment of Alicia Muntzner as U.S. chief revenue officer. Most recently svp of ad sales at The Weather Channel, Muntzner's 25-year media career includes a 17-year stint at NBCUniversal as well as time on the agency side at Chiat/Day and Adcamp Associates.

At The Weather Company, Muntzner first oversaw cross-platform selling and then sales for the TV network. But she isn't daunted by the switch to a digital media company. "I think the strength and breadth of my relationships in the marketplace will be substantial to the DailyMail," she said, "and I also think if you look at what [they are] doing in terms of video—producing over 650 daily—I think I can be a valuable asset there."
