Olson in Minneapolis has added Carlson Hotels’ Country Inns & Suites to its client roster following a review.

Bolin Marketing, also in Minneapolis, had previously worked with the brand.

Country Inns & Suites’ measured media spending in the U.S. for the first 10 months of 2008 was slightly more than $4 million, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus. The hotelier spent about $5 million through all of 2007 and more than $7 million in 2006, per Nielsen. Country Inns & Suites is a mid-tier chain that has about 465 locations worldwide.

Olson will develop marketing efforts for the U.S.
