Now Nabisco Brands and Ocean Spray are teaming up for the latest brand extension of the 101-year-old Newton cookie – an Ocean Spray Cranberry Newton.
This week, Nabisco introduced the cookie at a ‘wedding’ ceremony in Newton, Mass., the town that lent its name to the original cookie.
The new cookie will be in 80% of the country by March 15. Advertising for the new product will include the Ocean Spray swirl. Nabisco is handling advertising and promotion for the brand.
