CD Gorton Joins Jacobson Rost

Independent marketing communications agency Jacobson Rost has added Tom Gorton as creative director. He will work primarily in the shop’s Chicago office, reporting to CCO Steve Simoncic. Gorton most recently worked at Draftfcb as an associate cd, and prior to that held the same title at Leo Burnett. During his 13 years at Burnett, he worked on brands such as McDonald’s, Kellogg’s, Disney, Coca-Cola and Nintendo, among others. “Tom’s veteran sensibilities and versatility working on everything from nationally acclaimed television commercials to interactive campaigns, in-store programs and all points between are a welcome addition to our creative accounts,” said Jerry Flemma, president and chief operating officer for Jacobson Rost.
