CHICAGO–Carmichael Lynch is expected to be retained as the Minnesota Office of Tourism’s agency after a review.

The Minneapolis shop successfully defended the estimated $2 million tourism account in competition that ultimately narrowed to the incumbent and Colle McVoy, also in Minneapolis, sources said at press time.

More than 70 agencies received questionnaires prior to the selection of five semifinalists. The tourism program targets

12 Midwestern states and is intended to increase visitors during off-peak seasons.

‘Working on Minnesota as a brand taps into an emotion that runs pretty deep around here,’ said agency president and chief creative officer Jack Supple.
