The Detroit Public Schools’ “I’m in” campaign, created by Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett as part of an effort to save the city’s school system, won the Grand Effie at the 42nd annual North American Effie Awards, held tonight in New York.
 
The Effies honor the most effective advertising of the year.
 
In addition to its best-in-show Grand Effie, “I’m in” was a gold winner in the Government/Institutional/Recruitment category and a silver winner in both the Small Budgets/Services and GoodWorks/Nonprofit brackets.
