NEW YORK -- BMW's "The Hire," the digital film series that collected top prizes at advertising award shows this spring, will return this fall with three new shorts.

British actor Clive Owen will reprise his role as The Driver, the mysterious chauffeur who takes passengers on a high-powered car chase in a BMW. The new round of films will again be executive produced by David Fincher and produced by Anonymous Content and Fallon.

A hybrid of cinema and campaign, the initial five films debuted last year on BMWFilms.com and featured the work of highly-acclaimed directors, including Ang Lee and Guy Ritchie and actors Mickey Rourke and Madonna.

Fallon and BMW of North America took home Best of Show at the One Show and One Show Interactive [IQ Daily Briefing, May 13] and two Grand Clios at the Clio Awards [IQ Daily Briefing, May 21] for the short film campaign.
