MINNEAPOLIS – An ad for General Mills’ new Oatmeal Crisp with Apples breaks next Monday on network television. It is Big G’s third addition to the franchise, which includes Oatmeal Crisp with Raisins and Oatmeal Crisp with Almonds. The spot, entitled ‘Big Apple’ uses the rushed pace of New York to juxtapose people slowly savoring their cereal. The spot closes with the tag, ‘The taste that refuses to be rushed.’ The spot, created by CME/KHBB here, breaks after a two-week teaser campaign that invited consumers to dial a 800-number to receive a coupon good for $1 off the price of a box of the cereal.
