DETROIT – The battle for Chrysler Corp.’s $320-million-plus media account will apparently rage on at least into March. Chrysler’s vp/marketing John Damoose, after last week reviewing the recommendations of his staff and meeting with execs from the company’s three core agencies (Bozell, Southfield, Mich.; BBDO/Detroit and CME/KHBB, Southfield, Mich.), decided to continue the review despite a majority staff opinion that the account go to BBDO, according to sources. Damoose, these sources say, wants all three agencies to somehow share in the revenue generated by the consolidated media account.
