Bankers Award Print, Interactive to MDB

ATLANTA MDB Communications has been chosen by the American Bankers Association to provide print and interactive advertising, the agency said.

The Washington, D.C., shop won the 16-month contract following a review against undisclosed contenders. Arnold in McLean, Va., previously held the account.

"MDB is the perfect fit," said Eve Wallace, group director of programs and marketing for the ABA. She added that MDB was chosen due to its strength in direct response and its ability to offer a full range of services.

Along with creating print and interactive advertising, the shop will offer overall account strategy and research assistance. MDB hopes to drive awareness of training and professional development services provided by the association. The agency will also work to increase attendance at ABA-sponsored events.

Billings were not disclosed.
