CHICAGO Anheuser-Busch has added a level of oversight to its marketing operations, naming Michael Owens to the new post of vice president of sales and marketing.

Bob Lachky, vice president of brand management and director, global brand creative, will now report to Owens on everything except creative strategy and development, an A-B representative said.

On those matters, Lachky will continue to report to A-B president August Busch IV. Anthony Ponturo, vice president, global media and sports marketing, will report to Owens.
