Arnold has landed a place on Del Monte Foods’ agency roster.
The New York office of the Havas shop has won Del Monte's Milk-Bone creative business after a review, the agency said today. The other finalist was the incumbent, Draftfcb in San Francisco.
The assignment includes advertising and marketing duties encompassing digital, print and TV ads.
Milk-Bone represents the first new-business win since Robert LePlae became global chief executive at Arnold in early January. LePlae, who previously was North American president of McCann Worldgroup in San Francisco, helped pitched the business. Del Monte is based in San Francisco.
Arnold’s first work is expected to break in the second quarter.
Past media spending on Milk-Bone has been modest. In 2012, brand spending totaled less than $1 million, according to Nielsen. That figure does not include online outlays.
