Omni Automotive has driven off with the Arkansas Toyota Dealers Association's $2 million marketing account.
The Birmingham, Ala., shop pitched against incumbent Saatchi & Saatchi, Houston; First Impressions Marketing & Advertising, Oklahoma City; and The Moran Group, Baton Rouge, La.
Omni will handle print and broadcast advertising, as well as media placement duties.
The agency's campaign will break January 2001 in the Arkansas Gazette and other newspapers. Television ads will appear on network affiliates and cable. Radio buys will tie in with holiday sales and other promotional events.
Omni is also lead agency for the Hometown Mississippi Toyota Dealers Association.
