Apple Computer Tuesday night broke a television spot featuring an all-star cast of musicians to promote its iTunes software. The spot, titled “Concert,” is meant to demonstrate how people can select tunes from their CD libraries and create custom CDs on their Macintosh computers.

The spot continues the “Think different” tagline but departs from the spinning computers of past ads for the Cupertino, Calif., company.

Created by TBWA\Chiat\Day, Playa del Ray, Calif., the 60-second ad takes place in a downtown theater where a kid interacts with real-life musicians as he attempts to burn a
compilation CD.
